First off, Sara is an excellent hostess who gave us good reccommendations. She checked on us thruout dinner and made us comfortable. We had Mongolian beef, sides of white rice and stir fried rice, Mochi and the star of the dinner: Ma La Xiang Guo (Spicy Numbing Pork Stir Fry Pot)! It came in a little wok with a burner underneath keeping the dish hot. The pot was excellent and big enough for 2. We plan to try the other flavors, Very good!
They made me a plant based entree that wasn’t on the menu and gave me a bowl of peanuts to eat while I waited the 10 minutes to make my order. All the food was fresh and still hot when I got home. I ordered Kung Pao tofu and vegetable chow mein and they added free egg drop soup. Delicious! I’ll definitely be back!

Tasty Every Hour Chinese Restaurant is located in the shopping center across the street from the DMV and in the same shopping center as the Sunrise Banquet Hall and Hyatt Place. It’s a small restaurant with some indoor seating and a small area for outdoor seating that takes up a couple parking spaces. I have been seeing a lot of people coming here to get Chinese Food, so figured I’d try it out since I was too lazy to cook. I called in the order togo and was told it would be 20 minutes. We arrived probably around 20 minutes and the food was ready waiting for us as they weren’t busy. Food (4.5/5 stars): - Braised Green Beans and Eggplant: Good flavors, garlicky. Both the green beans and eggplant were not overcooked or undercooked. Eggplant can be mushy and slimy if overcooked, but it was not. - Beef Chow Fun: Cooked very well and was not bland or overly salty. Good amount of chow fun noodles and beef. My wife thought it could have had more flavor, but I liked it the way it was. - Braised Pork Belly: This was our favorite dish. The pork belly was in decent sized chunks and had great flavor, hint of 5 spice/anise, but not overpowering, sauce was great over steamed rice (we cooked steamed rice at home). Service: (4/5 stars): The lady that took our order was nice, but she started talking in Chinese for several seconds before hanging up the phone so I was able to hear her conversation with another employee. Fortunately, they were talking about me or said anything inappropriate. When we arrived to pick up our food, she was nice, but made no attempt to be friendly or start any small talk which is fine, however being more friendly could help improve service. Location (4.5/5 stars): Good place to grab some food before/after DMV visit. It’s near the all the Vacaville Car Dealerships, so it’s a nice place to stop and grab lunch/dinner when car shopping. Hyatt Place Hotel is right across the parking lot, so if you are staying there, stop by for lunch/dinner. They are near the Vacaville Premium Outlets and it is easy on/off I-80 and I-505 freeways. For Vacaville, Tasty Every Hour is a decent Chinese Food option. They provide decent serving size for the price of their dishes.

The service was excellent from start to finish. They do get busy, so calling ahead is a smart move. Quiet atmosphere, plenty of seating, and easy parking make it an all-around win. Definitely a new go-to spot for Chinese food in the area!
Delicious food with good portions. Ordered the Mongolian beef, spicy enough with lots of beef and onions. Got smoked signature pork. Great smokey taste, salty and goes great with steamed rice. Beef fried rice has a solid taste with tender beef. The gelatinous rice dessert is warm and has a great sugar syrup. Highly recommend this small hidden gem. Friendly staff and clean environment.
The Food was amazing, I haven't had good Chinese food in this area until now. We got Chicken Chow Mein, Honey Walnut Prawns and Broccoli Beef. I happened to look for Chinese food in Vacaville and it was rated good and we tried it and I truly recommend eating it. We got ours to go, but next time we may eat in. A steady flow of customers as well.
